The Unlikely Case for Martin O'Malley

Martin O'Malley is more than just another handsome older white guy. He is another white guy running for the presidency of the United States and the only Catholic running with the Democrats. O'Malley is also the only person with recent executive power. He was governor of the state of Maryland for eight years, as well as Mayor of Baltimore. The history of racial issues in the state of Maryland has somewhat shaded his presidential bid, creating a perceived inaction on his part to better the lives of African-Americans in the city. He signed a law allowing illegal immigrant children eligible for in-state college tuition. His other liberal bona fides continues as he legalized same sex marriage among many other subjects. The only major issue with Mr. O'Malley is that he is too faceless. No one could spot him in a crowd.
