What Would A Bernie Sanders Presidency Look Like?

  • Honolulu, Hawaii. April 12, 2016: Representative Tulsi Gabbard turns 35, meeting the minimum age requirement for president. 
  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. July 28, 2016: The DNC selects Senator Bernie Sanders over former State Secretary Hillary Clinton as the presidential nominee. Bernie chooses Vice Chairwoman of the DNC Tulsi Gabbard as his Vice President.
  • Burlington, Vermont. November 8, 2016: Republican presidential nominee businessman Donald Trump loses to Sanders/Gabbard. Democrats take over Congress.
  • Washington, DC. January 20, 2017: President Sanders and Vice President Gabbard are inaugurated.
  • First Term. (2017-2021): President Sanders enacts a single-payer healthcare system, holds billionaires accountable, reforms American campaigning by helping overturn Citizens United, allows for a free college apparatus and cuts the budget of the military to pay for his initiatives.
  • 2020 U.S. presidential election:  Republican presidential nominee Senator Tom Cotton is defeated by Sanders/Gabbard re-election bid. President Sanders is re-elected at age 79, retaining the title of being the oldest person to elected president. Vice President Gabbard remains in that position.
  • Second Term. (2021-2025): The American economy is at its highest, the well-being of the American people grows and a feeling of optimism sweeps the American electorate. A path toward a prosperous future is forged.
  • 2024 U.S. presidential election: President Sanders will retire at the end of his final term at age 83. Vice President Gabbard runs for President and is successfully nominated the Democratic nominee. At 43, she defeats the Republican nominee and becomes the first female Hindu president.
