This morning, Jason Easley of politicususa.com reported that Bernie Sanders is gaining momentum among the Wisconsin Straw Poll. Sanders is currently at 41% among the Democrats, compared to Hillary's 49% of support among the party. They did remind us that straw polls don't count for anything as it only measures support by those in attendance. But I do think that this is only the beginning. As rival candidate Martin O'Malley and Vice President Joe Biden only managed to garner 3% each. I will reiterate a point made in the article, if this becomes a race between Hillary and Bernie, it will be a race about the issues and that's something that has been missing from American politics as of late.
